What makes a good pillow?
There’s no right answer. It’s about getting the balance right between support and softness, which is a wholly personal matter.
Some people prefer to sink into their pillows, others like firm support. Some enjoy lying almost flat, others want to be raised up. People who sleep on their stomachs might even place a pillow beneath them for spinal support.
Because we’re all different, Norvegr offers three distinctive pillow collections. Varying from firm to super-soft, they also come in low, medium and high versions. This way, we hope to cater to all possible preferences and needs.

Down in pillows
When compressed, down loses some of its ability to insulate and breathe. However, due to its natural softness and irrepressible bounce, it’s still a wonderful material for pillows.
Feathers are usually added into the mix with the sole purpose of increasing firmness. The more feathers introduced, the firmer the pillow gets.
At Norvegr, we’re not keen on the dense, unpliable pillows you often find in average hotels. These might be filled purely with feathers or overstuffed with synthetic filling. We proudly do not make anything similar.
